RE: Water Sample Results 50 Barber Hill Road, South Windsor,CT
Dear Mr.Dzen:
Enclosed please find a copy of the results for the water sample that was collected on February 5,
1999 from an outside tap at the above captioned property. The water sample was analyzed for the
presence of aromatic(fuel oil/gasoline compounds)and chlorinated(degreasing agents)volatile organic
compounds(VOCs).
The results for the water sample were none detected for all compounds tested, see attached
results.
Originally, the State Health Department Lab verbally reported to me that your water sample contained a
trace level of trichloroethene. However, when the sample results were delivered to me,the results were
reported as none detected. Your well water will likely be resampled periodically.
The DEP will be investigating potential sources of the trichloroethene pollution in the area.
Should you have any questions regarding this letter, please feel free to call me at(860)424-3778.
Sincerely,
Scott Wing
