South Windsor, CT 06074 Re: Potable Well Sampling Information 134 Oakland Road South Windsor, CT 06074 Dear Ms. Hayes, On behalf of ExxonMobil, Groundwater and Environmental Services (GES), ExxonMobil's consultant, would like to thank you for allowing GES to conduct sampling of your drinking water well on November 16, 2007. The water sample from your well was tested for the presence of a number of volatile organic compounds found in gasoline, including methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) and ethanol. For your information, the tests were conducted utilizing Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved methods and a copy of the laboratory report is enclosed. The laboratory results indicate no presence of MTBE, ethanol or any other compound found in gasoline in your well water. As you know, the tests conducted on your drinking water well are part of an ongoing groundwater investigation being conducted under the direction of the Connecticut Department of the Environmental Protection (CT DEP). Please note; the sampling frequency of your well, as requested by the CT DEP, is quarterly. Therefore,the next sampling event is scheduled for February 2008.
