Dear Ms. Budarz,
This correspondence is to inform you that I have been notified verbally by the State
Health Department laboratory that a sample of your drinking water submitted on
8-30-07 was positive for total coliform.
The State guidelines are that well water containing any bacteria is not potable and it is
therefore recommended that your well water not be consumed.

Dear Ms. Budarz,
Enclosed is a copy of your well water analysis conducted at the State Health
Department laboratory.
As you are aware from a previous conversation and written communication (copy
enclosed), total coliform bacteria was present in your well water. If you have
chlorinated your well as discussed, I can resample it for you to be analyzed again for
bacteria. Please inform me if you would like a resample. Your water met all chemical
parameters tested for.
