Due to a past history of ground water contamination (EDB) in your area, the
Department of Environmental Protection is requiring that the Town have a sample of
your well water analyzed for contaminates associated with tobacco crops.
Please contact me within two weeks of receipt of this correspondence if you would like
your drinking water analyzed at no cost to you The results will help determine your
eligibility to be connected to the available public water.
