Dear Mr. & Mrs. Trahan,
Due to the past history of ground water contamination (pesticides) in your area or of your well,
the Department of Environmental Protection is requiring that the Town have a sample of your
well water analyzed for pesticide contamination (chlordane and dieldrin).
Please contact me at 644-2511 ext. 248 within ten-days of receipt of this correspondence if you
would like your drinking water analyzed at no cost to you The results will help determine your
eligibility to be connected to the available public water if you so choose.
Failure to respond within ten (10) days of receipt of this correspondence will be interpreted as a
"NO"answer, that you do not wish to have your water tested.
