We are writing to inform you of the modifications made to your pool at the above
reference premises per the recently enacted Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety
Act (the "Act"), These modifications should bring the pool up the standards as required
in the Act.
More specifically, we installed and tested the following equipment:
• On September 18, 2008 - One Hayward 8" Round Main Drain Cover, which meets
the requirements of ASME/ANSI Al12.19.8 2007. This cover must be changed
every seven years. Such change is your responsibility to do, and not ours, unless
you specifically and in writing contract with us to make such a change at that time.
• On May 15, 2009 - the installation of the Hayward Stratum Safety Vacuum Release
System was completed and the system was tested per the manufacturer's
requirements. You will be responsible for making sure that it stays in good working
order by testing the device once a month,per the provided manual.
In order for the Stratum to work properly there can be no leaks; we suggest having a
pressure test done once a year.
We suggest that you include checking the main drain cover part of your opening and
closing procedures everyday. Please let us know if you need a log.
Please note SVRS will not prevent evisceration, hair, object or partial limb
entrapment.

Re:Results of the pool inspection located at Chapel Hill Condominiums,
South Windsor,CT
To Whom It May Concern:
On September 11,2008,the above referenced pool was inspected to determine if it is in
compliance with Section'19-13-B33b(g)of the Public Health Code.The following is a
list of deficiencies noted:
1. The flow meter was not working
2. The depth markings.for the pool are not on the top portion of the pool
3. There isn't a break point color band .
4. The pool use regulations need the communicable diseases statement
5. There isn't a sign identifying the location of the phone
6. The exterior faucet used to fill the pool with does not have a hose bib value
7. The sand in the filter needs to re changed.
In an effort to ensure the pool at your establishments is safe for use and it meets with the
requirements of the public health code,I am requesting that you call the office to arrange
a time we could meet at the pool to conduct the required inspection next season before it
is open to the public.
