The results of the review reveled that the well used for manufacturing purposes has not been shown on the site plans submitted and accepted on 12-21-09 by the to the Planning Department. Section 19-13-1351d of the CT Public Health Code governs separation distance for wells to drains and other sources of pollution. The separating distances are measured horizontally and the separation distances vary with the required withdrawal rate for the well. Unfortunately in order for this office to approve its portion of the building permit you must submit a revised site plan that shows the location of the well used for manufacturing as well as a required withdrawal rate submitted by a licensed well driller. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and will assist you in any way I can to resolve this matter expeditiously. If you have any questions or require additional information about the inspection, please contact me at (860)644-2511,extension 248. Sincerely, Robert De Vito,R.S.
