This letter is in response to your inquiry regarding the status of a structure,described as an existing well
located within 244 Smith Street,approximately 6'north of the property line separating Lot 1 (#250 Smith
Street)and Lot 2(#244 Smith Street). Earlier today, I spoke with Mr.Leonard Bourbeau,who was involved
with the construction of the existing home and facilities at#250 Smith Street. He informed me that the
structure in question was a concrete structure with a pump inside that drew water through a plastic pipe from
the two wells located farther north within#244 Smith Street.He indicated that DZ Excavating crushed and
filled the concrete structure prior to the installation of the septic for#250 Smith Street,and also abandoned
the plastic pipe connecting to the rear wells.
The two rear wells located farther north within#244 Smith Street were incorrectly identified in previous plans
as"to be abandoned".Adjacent property owners Aaron L.&Karen Johnson had rights to these wells and as
part of the original subdivision approval, an irrigation pipe was required to be installed within an easement
created along the western boundary of#244 Smith Street to provide access to these wells to the Johnsons.
