Re: Possible sewage out break at 785 Pleasant Valley Road
Dear Ayala Augustin:
On November 10, 2008,this department received a complaint regarding a possible
sewage outbreak at 777 Pleasant Road, South Windsor, CT.That same day a
representative from this office conducted a site visit investigation to confirm the
outbreak. The investigation revealed the liquid discharge located in the rear of the
property has the same characteristics as sewage and it was not coming from 777 Pleasant
Valley Road, it was found to be coming from your residence, 782 Pleasant Valley Road.
A review of our records show that you are not connected to the sanitary sewer in the road
and it is very likely that your septic system is malfunctioning and is discharging sewage
onto the ground surface.
The discharge of sewage onto the ground surface is a violation of the Connecticut Public
Health Code and must be immediately abated. Please call 860-644-2511, extension 248
as soon as possible to discuss the necessary steps you must take to abate the violation.
