Subsurface Sewage Disposal System for -
Lot # 4, Niederwerfer Acres, Niederwerfer
Road on October 11, 1978.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. ) It is recommended that a curtain drain with the maximum possible depth (.0;364.5)
be provided east of the system in the area of the western portion of the proposed
foundation drain. This will further protect the system from ground water and is
recommended due to the poor soil conditions. This curtain drain should extend
.far enough in the northerly direction to preclude ground water from that area
interfering with the system®
The septi^ tank and "leaching field mu:-It be at least. 25 fit. from this drain.
2. ) Method of distribution from the upper to the lower trench is not indicated.
Serial distribution should be used as trenches are at different elevations.
3.) The inlet invert elevation at the septic tank should be given.
11. ) The separation distance between the proposed well. and septic system scales at
65 ft. A minimum separation distance of 75 ft. is required.
5. ) Locations of any sewage disposal system, reserve area, wells and buildings on
Lot #3 (property north of Lot #14) should be determined to assure adequate separation
distances .from facilities on Lot #11.
6.) I.°' an in ground oil tank is supplied it must be located at least 75 ft. downhill
from the well.
7. ) 7t is recommended that a perculation test be performed in the fill material when
it has been pl-aced.
CONCLUSIONS:
Plan approval is recommended when recommendations 1, 2, 3, L and 5 are implemented
and reflected on reprised plans to the satisfaction of the local sanitarian.
The local sanitarian should implement recommendation #7 after fill is placed.
Proper separation distance of the well from any in grouryj oil tank should be
assured prior to -issuance of a well permit. (recommendation #6)
