Lenare 110 Standish Street , Hartford., Connecticut 06114 Dear Mr. Lenares: This letter is to inform you that the well location (as shown on your plot plan dated July 1977) was not approved by the Town's Acting Health Director. The State Health Code reads that the proposed well should be at, or near, the high point on the lot. Changing the well location will result in shifting the proposed leaching field; and a new plot plan showing both the well location and leaching field area will be needed for final approval. After visiting the site yesterday, the most strategic place to spot the well would be off the northwest corner--just south of your proposed drive. The septic 'tank could be located off the south side of the house; and your fields run so that the required minimum of 75 feet to your well would be maintained.
