Mr. & Mrs. James Bradley
141 Miller Road
South Windsor, Connecticut 06074
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Bradley:
A sample of your drinking water was recently analyzed at
the State Health Department Laboratory. Enclosed is a copy of
the results.
The State guideline for iron is 0 . 3 milligrams per liter.
Your water contains 0. 5 mg/l. The State guideline for manganese
is 0.05 mg/l. Your water contains 0 .12 mg/l. Neither of these
concentrations are physiologically harmful, however they may
cause discoloration problems.
Also, the analysis revealed that trace amounts of a kerosene
type petroleum product is in the water. Due to this the water
should not be used for consumption.
If you have any questions, please call my office at the
Town Hall, 644-2511 ext. 274.
Very truly yours,
Robert Deptula, R. S.
Environmental Health Officer
