Boisseau 303 Long Hill Road South Windsor, CT 06074 Re: Public Health Code violation at 293 Long Hill Road South Windsor Dear Mr. &Mrs. Boisseau: On November 7,2008, Bernard Drabek,Engineering Assistant/Inspector, identified work that was being performed on the subsurface sewage disposal system at the above referenced address. That same day, Joe Perna, Project Engineer, visited the same property, confirmed and photographed the work. A review of our records revealed no permit to construct has been granted by this office to repair/construct the subsurface sewage disposal system at 293 Long Hill Road. The unpermitted work is in violation of the Ct Public Health Code, Section 19-13-13103e, "Procedures and Conditions for the Issuance of Permits and Approvals" and must immediately be abated. The first step toward abatement is to make an appointment with a representative from this office to schedule the required soil testing. The data collected from the soil testing will be used for the design of the septic system repair. Failure to comply and abate the violation will result in Orders issued by the Director of Health. Please call me at 860-644-2511, extension, 248 to discuss any questions you may have. Very truly our Robert De Vito, R.S.
