Dear Mr. Irwin:
This is to state that a percolation test was
made on Lot #2 of your property on the east
side of Foster Street, South Windsor, on
April 22, 1968. The location of the test
hole is shown on a property map of this land
prepared by Petersen & Hoffman.
A 12" 0 hole, approximately 36" deep, was
excavated. The material consists of 6" loam
underlain by a mixture of sand, gravel and
some silt. The hole was filled with water and
allowed to drain out and filled a second time.
The rate of drawdown after this second filling
was as follows:
1" 6 Minutes
1" - 241 9 Minutes
2" - 3" 10 Minutes
3" - 4" 11 Minutes
4" - 5" 12 Minutes
