I purchased the above addressed home in 1982, and it was"as is"! to this day! Originally it was approximately 1200 square feet of living space, not counting the basement. Then, sometime after, another section was built on the northern side, which included an app- roximate 30 x 9 feet, on the same level as the original Ranch Home. To the back side of that add-on,was built a small office, and stairway, which is approximately 45 inches lower, and approximately 20 x 7/140 sq feet...on the later is a bath, which includes the"john", a basin and a shower. There has never been any trouble with the lower bath, but just this past week, the shower backed, when the"john"was flushed the first time, and upon the second flushing of the john, water leaked out from under the john! I called "Skip's"who cleaned out the Septic tank and left the tank uncovered, whereupon another pf Skip's operatives came out and ran an electric snake down the shower drain, to no avail.,.. it remained plugged. ON an other day, I called hany's plumbing who came out and took up the "John"and snaked approximately 55 to 65 feet out until he could go no farther and all he pulled up was a bolt. He ran the snake another time with a larger bit! (to no avail) my question to you is simply. do you have any idea where the drain goes from the bathroom in the lower end of the add-on? The hany operative guessed by the fixtures that it was done sometime around 1977, more or less. ....my name is MANUEL FONSECA JR., MY TELEPHONE NUMBER IS 644-2266 AND I'M HOME USUALLY ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. I'M RETIRED AND AM 80 YEARS OLD TO DATE, I'VE SPENT 600.00 DOLLARS AND STILL HAVE NO FLUSHABLE JOHN ! (town sanitarian) Good afternoon Mr.Fonseca, I telephoned you this morning and left a message at 644-2266. 1 have a record of a septic system being installed in October, 1972. Also, there is a record of a repair to the leeching field done in May of 1986. Neither of these show any plumbing or piping. I did speak with Skips this morning and it appeared to them that there were two seperate pipes going from your house to the septic tank. Perhaps they can give you some additional information. Bob Deptula >>><Usnavymanny9@aol.com>02/14/06 12:14PM >>> Last week, I "did"e-mail you with"some" info on my non working toilet system! To be more explicit: I also visited your office and met a young man who was helpful up to a point, but didn't find the information that I needed. MY PHONE HAS BEEN MISPLACED, THUS I "E-MAIL"YOU AGAIN! (this time I hope to be a bit more precise) The gentleman at the desk, had lots of sewer system papers, but none pertained to my property. I LIVE AT 2640 Ellington Road, in So. Windsor, Ct, and have a septic system. my main bathroom, upstairs is connected to that"septic tank",which was drained just last week by"skips". An addition was put onto the original house, which included a"lower office and bath facility, including a"john"and a "shower">But I don't know, nor does any record exists, (to my knowledge)as to where that"lower bath and toilet facility runs out to>>>?? The young gentleman, at the counter, in your office, gave me your card, which I refer to now, and advised me to call you, he, probably hoping that you would remember the "add on"to my home at the above address and that you know something as to the "works"of the lower office bath facilities.....I'm hoping the same, so that I can call someone to"dig up"and look-see, if necessary. WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO KNOW ANYTHING IN REFERENCE TO THE ABOVE IN MY HOME? DO YOU REMEMBER ?? THANK YOU, IN ADVANCE,AND I REMAIN, Yours truly, Manuel Fonseca Jr., Bob De tula- Re Robert J.De tula,P p R.S.
