Dear Mr.Kebalo:
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority, at its regular meeting of October 7, 2014,
approved the change in the use of the property from residence to commercial for property located at 736
Deming Street, South Windsor, CT as more specifically shown on plans entitled "Re/Max Edge. 736
Deming Street, South Windsor, CT" Prepared by Design Professionals, South Windsor, CT; Project No.
3.432,Dated 06/10/14". This approval is subject to the following conditions:
1. 'Payment of a commercial connection charge in the amount of$2730.00 payable to the Town of
South Windsor. (Send payment to the Water Pollution Control Office, 1540 Sullivan Avenue,
South Windsor, CT 06074).
2. Installation of a private meter for purposes of measuring water that comes from the business. This
figure will be subtracted from the water company's consumption report to indirectly measure the
' sewer discharge and will serve as the basis for calculating a sewer user charge.
The meter installed must meet all Town regulations and appropriate technical
specifications relating to sanitary sewer construction. Please contact the WPCA Office at
(860) 644-2511 ext. 343 to schedule a meeting to approve proposed meter location.
The applicant needs to read this meter not less than once a month, maintain a log of meter
readings,have themeter maintained, and make sure is accurately recording flow.
Following reasonable notice, the applicant shall allow the Town staff to inspect meter log
and check that the meter is in good operating order; and
The applicant shall submit to the Town in January of each year a written meter report on
company letterhead for the previous calendar year.
