Dear Mr. Dubord:
Subject: Request to Place Fence Within Easement
We have reviewed your request to place a stockade-type fence
within the easement area. Installation of a fence is hereby
permitted with the following understanding:
1 . The fence shall be either gated or have sections that are
easily removed in the case that emergency access is
required along the easement.
2. That said installation of the fence is at your risk and
that the Town is held harmless for the maintenance and
liability of said fence.
3. That all necessary permits are obtained for said
installation of the fence.
4. By granting permission of said installation, the Town
does not relinquish its rights under the existing
easement.
If the above meets with your satisfaction, please respond in
writing. If I may be of further assistance, please feel free to
contact me.
