Dear Emil,
My husband and I are considering the possibility
of putting in a new lawn in front of out house at 40
Brian Road.
One way me might proceed is to install a home-
made "curb" of cinder blocks or such along our actual
property line, which is about 10 feet in from the
actual road.
However, as you can see on the attached sketch,
there is a storm drain in front of the house, and it
seems a procedure such as described would leave the
drain high and dry and create a traffic and possible
other hazards.
I wonder if you have had this type of situation
arise before, and what was done. I certainly don' t want
to cause the town any expense. Perhaps the most we
could do, if we do decide to put in a "curb", would
be to have it on a line with the drain.
Any suggestions you may have would be appreciated.
Very truly yours,
(Mrs. ) R. F. Romeyn
