Parveen Khanna 95 Bramblebrae South Windsor, CT 06074 ,. Dear Mr. and Mrs . Khanna: This letter will serve to confirm . the site visit of Sgt. Gerald Lewis and me on July 14, 1993 , concerning the placement of the stockade fence along your property within the street right-of- way. In an effort to resolve the sight line problem and conclude the fence location issue, the following was discussed: 1 . The south - portion of the fence will need to be removed/relocated per the attached schematic. An orange colored mark has been placed at the base of the fence post to mark the end limits of where the fence should be relocated. 2 . Prior to the start of the removal/relocation of the fence, a permit is to be secured from the Building Department (located on the top floor of the Town Hall . ) Please note that your contractor should be aware of Call- Before-You-Dig requirements prior to any excavation for post holes (Tel . #1-800-922-4455 ) 4 3 . That the remaining sections of fence may remain in place provided that you agree to the attached hold harmless agreement. It would seem that the fence is located too close to the road and obviously on town property. My main concern is the lack of adequate visibility when exiting my driveway. When we take a left and approach the road, the fence blocks the view of cars approaching from the south. I feel this is potentially a dangerous situation. I trust that your department will look into this situation and remedy the problem. Sincerely, Donald J. B tulonis cc: L. Streeter 7' E ILO v out: 1993(VIK tGLJ
