MEMORANDUM May 22, 1991
TO: Mike Gantick , Director of Public Works
FROM: Mel Stead , Superintendent of Streets
RE: 65 Birch Road
I met with Mrs. DeMio today at 10: 00 A. M. at 65 Birch Road.
She explained the erosion problem. There are two. One is from water
accumulation from her yard and car port running east around the east
end of the car port. She will deal with that problem.
The second problem stems from an old utility installation. The road
was overlayed in this area but settlement is evident. The lawn area
has settled lower than the pavement and the street water runs off the
road and down the lawn adding to the run off from the first problem.
This can be fixed by building up the lawn area and reseeding. The
road also needs patching.
I will try to schedule this work prior to June 10.
