Dear Chief Lanning :
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you
for reviewing and answering my questions regarding the above
captioned project .
As we discussed , the existing sprinkler system will
be utilized in its present state. We will make no modifica-
tions .
The offices at the perimeter of the east and west
ends of the building will have a ceiling height of 10 '-0" .
This will allow us to drop the sprinkler heads through the
ceiling tile typical of a standard installation. The remain-
ing areas will have a ceiling height of 8'-6" . A foamed
plastic ceiling will be used as the sprinkler height will
retain at 10 ' -0" . (Above the ceiling . )
Enclosed is some technical data on the tiles which
we will use at the 8 '-6" ceiling height .
