As we discussed, I would like to present my case and ask that this overbearing, expensive, and aesthetically eyesore request be dropped. I feel like H.G. Wells, big brother is now making laws and requirements for Homeowners. I know who comes and goes through my house. These alarms would in no way protect me from liability if someone should fall in my pool, just as a fence would not. The best alarm would be a pool alarm that sounds if someone physically went in the pool. With your alarm system someone could go out the door and an hour later go in the pool. So what good is a door alarm then.
