Re: Lot #51, Redfield; discussion of house relocation (activity
in the 401 buffer)
At the June 8, 1992 regular meeting of the Inland Wetlands
Agency/Conservation Commission, the Agency discussed your letter
dated June 4, 1992 and plot plans for lot #51, Redfield as presented
by Peter DeMallie of Design Professionals, Inc.
The Agency made a motion to, "approve plan B - twisting of house with
an 8' encroachment into buffer, previous conditions apply; fence is
to be continuous and unbroken as shown on plans submitted for the
original approval of Redfield, and placement of proposed deck of 10 ,
x 10, maximum in northern corner indention at rear of house" .
Additionally, the Agency wants to clarify that the tree clearing in
the 40 foot buffer area associated with the wetlands is to be
selective clearing, not clear-cutting. (See notation on attached
Staff Site Change dated May 8, 1992 regarding location of split rail
fence and treeline. )
Also the developer is advised by the Commission to notify the
homeowners that they cannot dump leaves, grass clippings, etc. into
the wetlands or 40 foot buffer area.

Dear Sir,
This correspondence concerns the venting/combustion air
system design alternatives for the Heatmaker boiler.
The manufacturer provides a standard vent kit that includes
both a four foot and three foot length of the outer five inch
26 gauge metal pipe and the hi-temp three inch diameter plex-vent
pipe.
It is acceptable to extend this concentric vent/combustion
air system to a maximum of fifteen feet (with two ninety degree
elbows of each size pipe) .
We are prepared to provide any additional information that may be
required. If necessary, we will gladly review this matter with
you personally at the Red Field Commons location. If you have any
further questions, feel free to contact me.
