The proposed location of the cabana is shown in the attached sketch of my swimming pool area and the attached lot plan of my property which is located at 39 Carman Road, Manchester, CT. Reasons for requesting such a variance are as follows: 1. To enclose the pool heater, pump, and related plumbing from the elements. 2. It is not possible to locate the proposed cabana closer to the pool because of the slide which is secured in con- crete in the ground. 3. To provide me with convient storage space for pool maintenance equipment. 4. To provide guests with a place to change clothes. It should be noted that the proposed cabana would be located inside the stockade fence which surrounds the pool area and would be approximately 200 feet from the nearest home located in South Windsor. The proposed cabana would be of wood frame construction on a reinforced concrete slab. I would be very grateful if my request for a zoning variance could be approved.
