Cowles) and Mrs. B. -APPLICATION NO. 1107-76 - Daniel Leon 17 i•Iain Street, requests a variance to Section 3, Article 3.10.8, to allow restricted commer- cial uses in an A-40 zone on premises known as 17 lain Street, Zone A-40. . - - -Mr. Daniel Leon ,- 5 Timber Lane, 'Windsor, represented trig wife who - owns the Pioneer Package Store. He explained there were two parts to the building they rent from the Hartford National Bank.. One section contains- the package store and the other is _presently vacant For many years one part of the building housed a general store and recently a novelty shop. He would like to rent approximately 500 square feet to an individual- who wishes to open a general store,.- waich he fdl't was needed in the area. - - - - • No one spoke in favor or in opposition. Mr. Warren asked about the_ parking. Mr. Leon said there would be adequate parking on the sides and in the front. - Mr. Vitiello determined Pars. The Board felt because a' store has been located on the property since it was built, there would be Sao objection in continuing this use. The approval is for a general store only and any change in use will require another appeal before the Board. Mr. Archer seconded the motion ; unanimously carried. Effective Date: May 19, 1976 Application No. 1108-76 - Mario and Erika Cicero VIr. Vitiello moved Application No. 1108-76, Mario and Erika Cicero, requesting a variance to Section 5, Article 5.2, to allow a building lot to the rear -of premises known as 376 Deming Street, Zone AA-30, be* ap•proved subject to site-plan approval by Planning and Zoning. The Board recognizes the 5.5 acres meet all requirements for a building lot except it is located on an unimproved but accepted Town road. The house will face Felt Road and be located behind the home of Mr. Augustinsen, not more than 100 feet from Felt Road. Mr. Cicero will be responsible for maintaining the driveway as far as snowplowing, etc. , are concerned. Mr. Archer seconded the motion; unanimously carried.. r Effective Date.
