Petraitis for a vegetable stand at 1014 Sullivan Avenue. The records reveal that Appeal #949-73 was granted a year ago (July 11, 1973) with certain restrictions. Accordingly, last year I was obligated to inspect the stand, since complaints were presented to this office. Several inspections were made, a letter sent, and discussions held with Mr. & Mrs. Petraitis, to no avail, concerning the violations of the approval. The violations were as follows: 1. The display and selling of produce not grown in South Windsor. In fact, a truck was followed out of East Hartford which delivered produce to the Petraitis stand. 2 . The cars that stopped to patronize the stand did not use the driveway as specified by Mrs. Petraitis. 3. The sign, required by the Zoning Regulations and approved by the Board of Appeals, was not installed per regulations and approval. As a result of the applicant' s non-compliance with the approval, this Department has had to endure a great deal of aggravation.
