Spmikel# Town Manager 1540 Sullivan Avenue South Windsor, Connecticut 06074 He: Appeal No. 923 Gentlemen: This is to notify you that your application to the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals requesting a variance of article 4.1.5 section 4,to allow a sign larger than permitted on promises known as 1540 ftlUvan Avenue, South Windsor, g g Zane has been approved. The board voted to allow the construction of a sign larger than permitted at 1540 Sullivan Avenue. The sign should be placed on the site at the approximate locatic n specified on the drawing submitted with the application to be no closer to the highway than the state taking line. The sign will meet the specifleations to file with the application that specified two walls., each approx1mtely 12 1/2 feet long and not to exceed five f t from the ground level. Lighting provided should be il.lueafnated through the night. It should be directly aimed at the sign: so as not to light areas beyond the sign or become a =isaaae for ate► of the neighboring properties. It should be placed so as to not be a hazard to traffic in either dir*41= on 3^41livan Avenue or ontering or exiting from the Town hall driveway, Th lettering should be substantially as presented with the application allowing the flexibility to also name another one or two buildings in the municipal office complex.
