To Whom It May Concern:
At the meeting of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals held on September 21, 2000, the Board
approved your request for: 1) a variance to section 10.2 to allow 72% impervious coverage (65%
allowed); and 2) a State Hearing under section 14-54 of the General Statutes for location approval of
motor vehicle dealer and general repairers license, at 1429 John Fitch Boulevard, I zone.
The Board concluded the hardship to be the long narrow lot configuration makes it difficult for any
commercial business to have only 65% impervious coverage.
The Board placed the following condition on the impervious coverage:
Subject to site plan approval by the Planning &Zoning Commission.
The Board placed the following conditions on the motor dealer and general repairers license:
1) Subject to site plan approval by the Planning &Zoning Commission.
2) No vehicles to be stored in the front portion of the site.
Any new building, or alteration/additions to existing buildings, requires a building permit prior to start of
construction.
