Dear Mr. Collins:
On 4/29/02 I made a field inspection of the maintenance building under construction,
specifically in respect to the subsoil in the vicinity of the footings. This inspection showed the
footings and foundation in place and a portion of the wall backfilled. In the areas that were not
backfilled, I was able to check the material immediate adjacent to and, in some instances, slightly
under a small portion of the footing.
From what I could see, the material was similar to the material that is throughout that
immediate area including the vicinity of the clubhouse and it appears that there should be no problem
with it supporting this structure.
