Dear Mr. &Mrs.Post:
At the meeting of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals held on January 9,2003,the Board approved
with conditions your request for a 15' variance to section 10.2 to allow a shed 5' from the property line(20'
required)at 162 Beelzebub Road,RR zone.
The Board concluded the hardship on the property to be as follows:
1. The topography of the land and flooding makes it impossible to place the shed to the rear of
the house.
2. The house is too close to the sideline to place the shed on the southern side of the property.
The Board also placed the following conditions on this application:
1. The tree line is required to remain around the shed,creating a buffer,in order to retain the
aesthetics of the neighborhood.
2. The shed must be at least 80' from the road.
Any new building,or alteration/additions to existing buildings,requires a building permit prior to start of
construction.
These actions are effective upon your filing the enclosed form in the Town Clerk's Office at your own
expense.
