Observation:
• Observed placement of structural fire in the building pad area.
• Structural fill was being excavated from the northern portion of the site and
transported to the building pad.
• The materials consisted of a medium density sand with little or no fines.
• Placement of the material was conducted by spreading 8" to 10" inch lifts
using CAT D 9 dozer and a compactive effort was being applied to each lift
using a vibratory compactor.
