This is an existing building currently being served by a 6" PVC sanitary lateral. Our proposed 20-dog grooming facility with the full-time equivalent of 1.5 employees,to service 20 groomings with bathing per day. Expected sanitary flows from the dog grooming business are 500 gallons per day.Flow calculations are based on Section 4.13,Table 4 of the Connecticut Public Health Code by use. • The business will also use biodegradable shampoo and conditioner products for use in servicing the dogs. Natural cleaning solutions will be used for sanitizing and decontaminating the grooming stations. Commercial grade hair trap interceptors will be used at the stations to prevent any contaminants from entering the sewer system. Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments.
