Site Improvements Narrative
Dear Ms. Lipe,
On behalf of the McDonald's Real Estate Company,please find the attached documents for proposed
improvements of the Existing McDonald's Restaurant located at 769 John Fitch Boulevard, South Windsor
CT. In an effort to improve their restaurant,McDonald's is proposing upgrades to the drive-thru features,
renovations to the building,and minor site improvements to ensure compliance with ADA regulations.The
upgrades to the drive-thru include replacing the existing menu board and order point with McDonald's current
digital features to improve customer visibility and optimizing the drive-thru queue to improve stacking. The
building improvements include refurbishing the building fagade and signage.
No expansion to the existing limits of pavement are proposed by this project. There are also no changes to the
vehicular circulation, storm water conveyance system or utility changes proposed at this time.
Attached herewith please find the following documents:
• Four(4)copies of Site Development Plans prepared by Bohler Engineering,Dated 1/4/19;
• A$50.00 check made payable to the Town of South Windsor for a Staff Site Change Fee;
• One(1)Staff Site Change for Site&Subdivision Application;
