RESIDENTIAL BEDROOM ADDITION SEWER FEES
The connection fee is based on Equivalent Dwelling Units (EDUs). A minimum of one EDU shall be used for all new
bedroom additions.
STEPS 1: BOX 1-OWNER INFORMATION: Fill out all applicable sections completely. Make sure to include
contact information so you can be reached for questions.
STEP 2: BOX 2-PROPERTY INFORMATION: Fill out all applicable sections completely.
STEP 3: BOX 3-CAPACITY CHARGE CALCULATION: Using the"Equivalent Dwelling Unit Value Table"—
In Box 3a.- Enter the total value of EDU for the number of bedrooms after home renovation.
In box 3b.-Enter the total value of EDU for the number of bedrooms prior to home renovation.
Subtract the total EDU value for the number of bedrooms you will have after construction (box 3a)
from the EDU value for the number of bedrooms you currently have(box 3b). Enter the total value in
box 3c.
In box 3d.- Multiply the total EDU by the Base Fee, and enter the result in Box 3d.
STEP4: TOTAL FEE: The applicant must pay this fee prior to permit issuance.
