This approval is subject to the following conditions: 1. Installation of a sewer line chimney to accommodate the connection of Lot 2. 2. Payment of a benefit assessment on Lot 2 of$16,336 or current rate at time of connection. 3. Payment of applicable charges for each property at the current set rate at the time of connection. 4. Technical approval of the Town of South Windsor Engineering Department; and 5. Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection is _ conditioned upon the installed sewer line having been inspected by the Town staff, and upon the written verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line was installed in substantial conformance with the design plans approved by the Authority, and meeting all regulations and appropriate technical specifications relating to sanitary sewer construction. The Town does not usually approve inside drops, unless there are extenuating circumstances and no other viable options. Inside drops are difficult to maintain and make it difficult for Town crews to access manholes for inspection and cleaning. Have you considered installing a chimney over the sewer main to raise the lateral and keep it in the location proposed on the plans? There are chimneys in place for the laterals for the other 2 lots. Please let me know your thoughts as I want the plan to be correct and I understand revisions have been handed in to you.
