Dear Mr. & Mrs. Schulman:
Thank you for your letter of October 20, 2017 requesting a renewal of your
in-law apartment permit. Your letter indicated that the conditions of the
original approval remain unchanged. Your permit is renewed, subject to
the following conditions:
1 . This approval is for an in-law apartment for a family
member/relative only. When the in-law apartment is no longer
occupied by a relative of the family, the apartment cannot be
treated as a second dwelling unit. Instead, the kitchen must be
removed and the living area must be converted into other living
space for the main dwelling.
2. This permit will expire in five (5) years, on November 30, 2022, and
will have to be renewed at that time if the use is to be continued.
Owner(s) of the property must reside in the apartment or the main
dwelling unit.

Chase Farm Road, South Windsor, Connecticut, as an in-law apartment. The conditions of the
original permit approval remain the same.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Schulman:
Please be advised that the permit for the in-law apartment on your
property at 35 Chase Farm Road will expire on November 30, 2017.
If you would like to extend your permit beyond the above expiration date,
you must submit a request in writing stating that the conditions of the
original approval remain the same.
If you are no longer using the space as an in-law apartment, please send
a letter indicating that, and describing how the space has been
converted back to living space for the single-family dwelling.
Please submit the appropriate correspondence by November 3, 2017. If
