Dear Mr. Marino:
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority, at its regular meeting of June 6, 2017,
approved the application as presented for connection to the Town's sewerage system for a proposed
residential home at 2164 Ellington Road, South Windsor, CT as more specifically shown on plans
entitled "Site Improvement Location Plan, Proposed Lot 91B, Prepared for Zheng Li Kwok, 2164
Ellington Road, South Windsor, CT); Prepared by Joel M. Fuller, Marlborough, CT; Dated March 5,
2017; Revised: 6/05/2017. This approval is subject to the following conditions:
1. Technical approval of the Town of South Windsor Engineering Department; and
2. Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection will be
conditional upon the installed sewer line having been inspected by the Town staff, and upon the
written verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line was installed in substantial
conformance with the design plans approved by the Authority, and meeting all regulations and
appropriate technical specifications relating to sanitary sewer construction.
This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.

Subject: 2164 Ellington Road proposed House Sewer
Tony, Ether,
have reviewed the proposed plan for a new house at 2164 Ellington Road (Lot 91 B), dated March 5, 2017 and I
have the following comments:
1. The sanitary sewer lateral has to have a minimum slope of 2%from the house to the main line stub. The
proposed sewer is steeper than 2% and can be flattened.
2. The sanitary sewer lateral needs to be labeled 6" PVC SDR 35 or 6" Schedule 40 pipe.
3. Show a proposed water line from the main in the street to the house. The sanitary sewer lateral and water
line need to have at least 10 feet horizontal separating distance between them per the CT public health
code.
4. All electric, cable and phone lines need to be buried underground from the street to the house.
