To whom it may concern:
It has been brought to my attention by the Town Street Services Manager
that the evergreen trees along Rye Street have overgrown and are
hanging into the Town right of way, creating a potential sight line issue
and public safety concern. Please be aware that the Town Regulations,
Section 6.2.3 Obstruction by Landscaping requires that landscaping shall
not obstruct line-of-sight for vehicles traveling on abutting Town or State
highways. A copy of the regulation has been attached for your
reference.
Please trim the trees by September 30, 2016 so that they do not cause a
public safety problem for vehicles exiting Commerce Way onto Rye
