To whom it may concern:
It has come to my attention that you are operating a business building
wooden sliders and other items out of your home at 2140 Ellington Road.
While Section 7. 11 Home Occupations of the Town of South Windsor
Zoning Regulations allow a resident to operate a business out of their
home, the business must meet the criteria specified in the regulations, a
copy of which is included for your information.
Currently, the regulations do not allow for the outdoor storage of any
goods, materials or product associated with the home occupation. If you
wish to display your product, you will need to apply for a Temporary and
Conditional permit, which will be considered by the Planning & Zoning
Commission (PZC) during a public hearing. Copies of the home
occupation permit application as well as an application for a Temporary
& Conditional permit have been included for your use.
Please submit a home occupation permit application and a PZC
application (if desired) by July 29, 2016 to avoid enforcement action from
