Re: Vehicles on property
Dear Ms. Arabasz:
This office received a telephone call questioning the Town regulations
regarding unregistered vehicles. Following up on the call, I went by your
property at 21 Highview Road on Thursday, February 23, 2016.
It appears that there is at least one car that is not currently registered with
the Town. In addition, there are two commercial vehicles and one piece
of earth moving equipment in the backyard. Please be aware that
Section 3.2. 1B Commercial Vehicles of the Town Zoning regulations only
allows one commercial vehicle to be parked on residential property,
provided such vehicle is a van or pick-up type vehicle.
The Town Anti-Blight Ordinance defines blight as one or more unregistered
motor vehicles in the public view. A copy of the ordinance is included for
your review.
Please remove any unregistered cars and non-conforming commercial
vehicles from your property, and provide a schedule for the removal of
the earth moving equipment by March 14, 2016 to avoid enforcement
