Dear Mr. Krar:
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority, at its regular meeting of September 1,
2015, approved the application as presented for connection to the Town's sewerage system of a
proposed New Orchard Hill Elementary School located at 380 Foster Street, South Windsor, CT
as more specifically shown on plans entitle "New Orchard Hill Elementary School, 380 Foster
Street, South Windsor, CT; Site Plan/Special Exception"; Prepared by Design Professionals, Inc.,
South Windsor, CT; Project No: 3424, Sheet No. UT-1 "Utility Plan"; Dated 6/9/15; Revisions
Date: 7/21/15. This approval is subject to the following conditions:
1. Installation of an indoor automatic grease recovery unit (AGRU) meeting the
requirements of the State of CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection
(DEEP);
2. Technical approval of the Town of South Windsor Engineering Department;
3. Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection will be
conditional upon the installed sewer line having been inspected by the Town staff, and
upon the written verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line was installed
in substantial conformance with the design plans approved by the Authority, and meeting
all regulations and appropriate technical specifications relating to sanitary sewer
construction.
This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.
