Re: Unpermitted temporary sign at 1678 Ellington Road
To whom it may concern:
While driving past your property at 1678 Ellington Road over the past few
months, I have observed an A-frame sign on the property for a nail salon
operating in one of the units.
Please be aware that the Town of South Windsor regulates the presence of
temporary signs within the Town. The existing sign is in violation of the Zoning
regulations, and needs to be removed. Table 6.5.8A of the Town Zoning
Regulations, Signs Allowed in Commercial/Offlce/Industrial zones, a copy of
which is attached, restricts the display of signs for grand openings or special
events only.
Please remove the temporary sign immediately to avoid enforcement
action by this office. If you would like to submit an application for a
temporary sign, please complete the enclosed application form, complete with
the property owner's signature, to me for approval. If you have any questions,
