RE: Conceptual Approval to Connect—Strawberry Fields-Elderly Condominium Complex

Dear Mr.DeMallie:
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority,at its regular meeting of January 2,2001,gave
conceptual approval for the connection to the Town's sewerage system of an elderly condominium to be
built on Sullivan Avenue,South Windsor,CT.as more specifically shown on plans entitled"Strawberry
Fields Adult Condominium",prepared by Design Professionals,Inc.,Project No. 1280,Drawing No(s).2,
"Key Map(General Plan)"dated 11-17-2000,revised 12-18-00 and 1-9-01,and Drawing No. 10"Detail
Sheet 1"dated 11-17-00,revised 12-18-00, 1-2-01, 1-9-01 and subject to the following conditions:
1. Technical approval of the Town Engineering Department.
2. Approval being obtained from the State of Connecticut to install the sewer line in the right of way
on the east side of Sullivan Avenue.
3. Auxiliary power be provided for the private pump station.
4. A developers agreement be considered to include the 3 private residences on the east side of
Sullivan Avenue for connection to the system,at the time construction is being done.
5. Reserve capacity of the Town's system is sufficient for this project.
6. Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection will be given once
the sewer line has been installed and inspected by the Town staff,and based upon the written
verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line was installed in substantial conformance
with the design plans previously approved by the Authority,and meeting all Town regulations and
appropriate technical specifications relating to sanitary sewer construction.
This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.
