The proposed site plan, dated 9/16/13, prepared by Rob Hellstrom Land Surveying (RHLS) was compared with the record plan for the site, specifically, sheet 3 of 7, Topographic & Conservation Plan, prepared by Messier&Assoc., Inc., dated 10/97, revised to 3/10/98. This analysis specifically examined the potential impact to stormwater runoff emanating from the northern portion site at catch basin#2 (ref. Messier Assoc. plan). The RHLS plan proposes to include a 60' by 20' portion of the building and provide an additional five (5) parking spaces in the northern area. The stormwater runoff from the additional roof area is directed to underground storage/infiltration. The net effect of these two revisions is a decrease in drainage area contributing flow to catch basin #2. Therefore, we do not anticipate any negative impact on the stormwater runoff emanating from catch basin #2. See attached calculations and reference material (3 sheets). Conclusion: The proposed revisions will not adversely impact stormwater drainage emanating from catch basin #2 (the northern area of the site). The proposed development will not adversely impact the drainage of the surface runoff on the site or in the surrounding area. If you have any questions, please contact me at(860)465-7419.
