We are looking for those trees to be relocated (and shown on the plan)as well as some additional trees to be interplanted along the frontage of the site. This area is still pretty sparse from the removal of trees and vegetation that took place with the previous application. 2) A construction entrance pad should be shown with a detail. We do not dirt being tracked out onto Burnham Street. 3) A note should be added that all trucks should enter through the existing parking area. We do not want to see the access drive that was cut in from Burnham Street utilized. It is not an approved access. That area should be repaired to lawn. 4) The applicant should be prepared to address at the public hearing the number of trucks anticipated to accomplish the filling and the duration of the project. 5) The area should be stabilized with seed after the operation is completed to guard against erosion. A note specifying the details of such should be added to the plans. 6) FYI—The regulations allow the duration of the permit to be one year. Please let me know if you have any questions. The land filling regulations require that the plan provide for proper drainage during and after completion; and that no bank exceed a slope of 2:1. The Commission may require safety measures to protect vehicular and pedestrian traffic, such as pavement of access roads to reduce dust and relieve traffic problems. 3. The purpose of this application is to establish the area that will eventually be used for additional parking. A site plan of development will be required before any further construction is permitted on the site. 4. The proposed operation will be accessed solely from the parking lot off of that has its access off of Burnham Streets; no entrance is proposed on Burnham Street. The Town of East Hartford was notified of this pending application. 5. The applicant is showing the relocation of some of the trees that will be disturbed as well as additional screening along the Burnham Street frontage. 6. The amount of disturbance does not warrant an application to the IWA/CC for conservation approval. Staff has reviewed the proposed E and S measures and has found them to be adequate. ,We would recommend a bond in the amount of $4,000 to ensure compliance with the E and S measures proposed. 7. If this application is approved, the Planning Dept has no requested approval modifications. There are no engineering comments on the plans.
