Town Engineer � %� Date: 07/23/03 Re: Ahern Subdivision Bonds ��y�p�FpT know the developer has requested the bond be reduced from $2,500 to $0 for the Ahern Sudivision on Abbe Road. This bond can not be reduced until the following outstanding items are completed. 1. spread topsoil and seed the entire disturbed shoulder in front of the 4 lots and Town open space. This is not complete in front of Lot 4. 2. We need to receive a mylar as-built plan of the subdivision improvements that were made. This includes the sewer main installation, the location and elevation of all sewer valves and laterals, driveway locations, the water line and services, and the required pins and monuments. This should be an updated version of Sheet 3 of the Subdivision Plans. We can provide copies of the sewer lateral tie cards to facilitate the as-built plan. The attached checklist has been marked to show the relevant information needed. 3. We also need a letter from a Licensed Surveyor certifying that the required pins and monuments have been set in the field. See Item a. on the attached checklist. We usually reduce the bond to 10% of the original amount and hold this for a one year maintenance period after the public improvements are complete.
