The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority, at its regular meeting of April 3, 2012,
approved the proposed connection to the Town's sewerage system for commercial property
located at 459 John Fitch Blvd., South Windsor, CT; as more specifically shown on plans
entitled: "459 John Fitch Blvd., South Windsor, CT"; Prepared by Design Professionals, Inc.,
South Windsor, CT; Project No.: 3159, Dated 3/29/2012. This approval is subject to the
following conditions:
• There will be two sampling monitoring manholes installed;
• A Vehicle Maintenance Permit for the oil/grit separator must be obtained from the State
of Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection(DEEP);
• The existing tank will be modified to meet current requirements of the oil/grit separator;
• A draft of an easement allowing the Town access to the sampling manholes on the
building sewer for monitoring purposes must be reviewed and receive the prior approval
of the Town Attorney; and the drawings presented will be modified to reflect said
easement;
• Technical approval of the Town Engineering Department;
• Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection will be
conditional upon the installed sewer line having been inspected by the Town staff, and
upon the written verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line was installed
in substantial conformance with the design plans approved by the Authority, and meeting
all regulations and appropriate technical specifications relating to sanitary sewer
construction.
This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.
