Ak"-PLIJA h/J . Signature of owner Properly I Date /lot Signatur Applicant 7 Date 9 STRONG ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROPOSED ACTIVITIES JANUARY 2012 The Town is planning to improve the drainage and reconstruct about 2400 feet of Strong Road from the railroad tracks to just east of 442 Strong Road. The intersection of Strong Road and Nutmeg Road North will also be re-built. Strong Road will be reconstructed to a pavement width of 26'to 28' depending on the constraints of the road right-of-way and utilities. Strong Road is one of the old Town roads from the 1800's and its narrow right-of-way varies from only 33'to 411/2'wide. The Town intends to make most of the road and drainage improvements within the existing right-of-way. Additional catch basins will have sumps to collect sediments. Grading of the surrounding grass shoulders and repaving driveway entrances may extend onto the adjacent properties to blend them into the existing lawns and driveways, with the properly owner's temporary permission. Improvements will be made to the existing culvert at 438 Strong Road with the installation of a stormwater quality unit to reduce the deposition of sediments and the installation of a plunge pool at the outlet to reduce stream erosion.
