Dear Mr.Kelly:
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority,at its regular meeting of May 6,2003,gave
approval for the connection to the Town's sewerage system of a senior residential development on
Ellington Road,as more specifically shown on plans entitled"Plan and Profile—Podunk Ridge"prepared
by Design Professionals,Inc.,Project No. 1520,Drawing No(s)5,7,8,and 9 dated 1-30-03,revised 2,13-
03,3-06-03,4-07-03,4-28-03,4-29-03,and subject to the following conditions:
1. Engineering department approval of the 4"PVC pipe connected to the 8"gravity feed force main.
2. Installation of 6"laterals to end of right of way on all abutting properties to the 300 foot sewer line
to be installed on Ellington Road.
3. A new manhole to be located on Ellington Road including a stub heading north for future
development.
4. Engineering approval of the pump station and backup system.
5. Must conform with the Town and State regulations regarding the Small Systems Act.
6. Developers Agreement to be drawn up and reviewed and approved by the Town Attorney.
7. Town to notify current homeowners advising them of the ability to connect to the Town sewerage
system.
8. Technical approval of the Town Engineering Department.
9. Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection will be given once
The sewer line has been installed and inspected by the Town staff,and based upon the written
Verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line was installed in substantial
conformance with the design plans previously approved by the Authority,and meeting all Town
regulations and appropriate technical specifications relating to sanitary sewer construction.
This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.
