Dear Mr.DeMallie:
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority,at its special meeting of July 30,2002,gave
approval for the connection to the Town's sewerage system of an elderly apartment complex located on
Oakland Road, South Windsor,CT.,as more specifically shown on plans entitled"Topographic Map"
prepared by Design Professionals,Inc.,Project No. 1521,Drawing No(s).3,dated 12-10-01,with revisions
dated 5-16-02,6-13-02,6-27-02,7-16-02 and subject to the following conditions:
1. A notice acceptable to the South Windsor Town Attorney be placed on the South Windsor Land
Records prior to issuance of the first certificate of occupancy,stating that prior to any change in
ownership from rental property to any form of single unit ownership,the applicant/owner agrees
to grant an easement as the owner/seller to all owner/purchasers prior to any such sale,allowing
all property owners to have access to and through all sewer laterals on the property and further
agreeing to meet any and all conditions set forth in the approval letter dated August 5,2002 from
the South Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission.
2. Connection charge in the amount of$850 per unit must be paid at the time the permit is issued
3. Technical approval of the Town Engineering Department.
4. Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection will be given once
the sewer line has been installed and inspected by the Town staff,and based upon the written
verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line was installed in substantial conformance
with the design plans previously approved by the Authority,and meeting all Town regulations and
appropriate technical specifications relating to sanitary sewer construction.
This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.
